The “Cable-guy and guitarman” – that´s me. I always had the guitar in
my blood. It started early and my father is guilty bout that. He was a fan
of the Rolling Stones, Beatles and Simon & Garfunkel. What I always starred
at, were these guys with their guitars. How easy they flew over the strings
and made these magic melodys. So I became the probably best “Air-Guitar hero”.
First, there were the flute lessons and the choir in elementary school.
My teacher was not so very amused bout me and said “maybe you should try
something different before somebody gets hurt”. But what about MY “dream”?
Well these word boosted me, so me and my friend Thomas went to do some guitar
lessons for now to come the really cool songs with these riffs and chords.
Well everybody starts small. And so after learning the notes there came
short melodys and chords.
The harder- the better. Only the music styles
were not mine like barrock, classics or church music. And so after 4 years
of learning I put my guitar away. I moved to Hameln. So where can I put the
guitar? So it got a nice place in the living room from where it starred at
me all the time! And then after some time I picked up my heart and re-started
to play. But this time I bought true music books with songs like “Dust in
the wind”, “Mrs. Robinson” or “Venus” and it were these songs wich made me
go better and better.
So about one year later I bought this dream of a
wonderful guitar, my Fender! Now playing is the double fun. (my favourites:
Fender E-guitar, Tennesse acoustic guitar) My nickname in the band: The “cable-guy”
Florian Bork "Mr. Garborkel"
(bass, 12-string, vocals)
The Marienau born bass-man (1.10.79) of Armon & Garborkel has
finished child-minder school in 2004.
The guitar and bass playing
he learned from his school music teacher (Mr. Möllers) and the
house-kepper (Mr.Ewan). In the following years came more instruments
like drums or keyboard. He is a fan of many musicians like the swedish
band Roxette, Chris de Burgh, Bruce Springsteen, R.E.M., Johnny Cash,
Chris Rea and many others..
The “Saab” Fan has already played on stage in the mid 90´s with his
Band “Demon”. They played concerts like “Thüster Rocknacht” or
“Coppenbrügger Rocknacht”.
2006 he published a solo-Single named “Signs” under the artist name
“Sound of Bork”. It is a wonderful rock-ballad about relationships
that hurt so much. (Can be bought on CD, look at "contact".

I am part of the non-music area of Armon & Garborkel.
But I stood up with the band from the beginning. It was
in 2006 when we realized that a band needs a website today.
The base website was build by Mr.Garborkel. But after some
time it was to time intense and Mr. Garborkel prefered to
concentrate on music not on webdesign. The website should
also become more professional. And so, while I was (private)
very interested in webdesign I got the chance to do it and
became the webmaster of www.ArmonUndGarborkel.de.
The band pictures of A&G were made by myself in a foto-session
in august of 2006 just like some of the concert-pics.
